The PF46145 and PF46171 provide outstanding water removal in extreme water-in-fuel conditions by utilizing a multi-stage coalescing and stripping process. • Enhanced Multi-Stage Water Removal delivers clean fuel • High Efficiency Media captures a larger percentage of smaller particles • Easy, Quick Visual Indicators show when to replace your filter INNOVATIVE ONE-PIECE END CAP DESIGN The PF46145 and PF46171 feature a one-piece end cap with an extended lip. As the filter loads with contaminants, the fuel level rises, allowing the fuel to maintain a path through the clean filter media. When the fuel reaches the level indicated by arrows (evenly spaced around the filter) the filter should be replaced. The one-piece design ensures an air-tight seal, which eliminates possible air bypass. Air bypass can cause the fuel to rise faster, requiring servicing before the OE recommendation. The robust, innovative design maximizes the life of your filter, protects your engine against contaminants and lowers your total maintenance costs.
