Replacing all related wear components when installing a new clutch and flywheel ensures smoother shifting and prolonged clutch life. D&W recommends using a new clutch installation kit with every clutch job because it will return your clutch system to its proper tolerances between mating components. All new and remanufactured heavy duty clutches have preset adjustment for proper release based on new component dimensions and tolerances. The installer must account for wear on the flywheel and linkage.
